Individual Goals & Practice
Let’s learn life skills!

Japan introduced unique school activities outside of subject learning, called “Tokkatsu” in the 1950s, to emphasize the holistic development of the child, targeting both academic knowledge/skills and social-emotional skills for establishing one’s overall well-being. PADECO Co., Ltd. has been supporting the introduction of “Tokkatsu” in Egypt as a JICA project since 2017. Based on this experience, in 2022, we developed an online course on “Individual Goals and Practices”, one of the Tokkatsu activities for some schools in India. Due to the positive response from these schools, we have now revised this material for worldwide availability and are offering it as an online course so that more people can learn about it. Among Tokkatsu Activities, this course focuses on the activity called “Individual Goals and Practices,” which nurtures the self-management skills of students.
