What is Knowledge Co-Creation Program?
Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) runs Knowledge Co-Creation Programs focused on the holistic Japanese model of schooling, and Bunkyo Gakuin hosted this program in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
The program helps participants learn about Japan’s whole-child education model, which is based on a holistic framework integrating subjects and non-subject areas (e.g., tokkatsu and sogo), as well as cognitive and noncognitive learning. This model is implemented nationwide across various levels of Japanese schooling.
